Yoga is for EVERY body. Regardless of size. Regardless of age. In whatever configuration it comes in. Even if it’s injured. Yoga is for YOU.
I spent YEARS – most of the ones I’ve had, to be fair, doing everything in my power to treat my body badly. I didn’t nourish it. I didn’t listen to it. I punished it for not looking like I wanted it to look or being able to do the things I wanted it to do.
And then – I hit 40. Right before lockdown. Which was fine – not traumatic at all – but I’d always heard a switch May flip in your head long about then and the f**ks you gave may just seem a little less … pressing. I thought I had zero f**ks before …. Now I’ve got the space to turn that energy inward, and the free time to do so.
Im not saying I’m prefect or I have the answers – any answers – but I’ve got the space, and a passion for bringing yoga to people who don’t feel represented in the typical yoga space.
