2023 Gift Guide For The Yogis In Your Life

These are my favorite yoga-related things I’ve either gotten as gifts, have purchased for myself or am gifting friends in 2023.

Sandstone Incense Holder + Nice Incense

I love this incense holder! It looks so cool – ethereal with incense and artistic without. It also diffuses the smoke nicely so there aren’t bands of cloud swirling about the house – just pleasant fragrance.

Electronic Lighter

I love this thing. So much so, I bought a backup for when I misplace this one. So much nicer than running around trying to find a lighter.

Yoga Anatomy Coloring Book

I’ve wanted an excuse to pick up an anatomy coloring book for years, and am so happy I stumbled upon this one when prepping for my Teacher Training course.

Wrist Wedge

This is a newer addition to my prop arsenal, and I’m digging it so far. I can’t wait to try it with private clients to unlock just what this thing can do.

Extra Thick Foam Quarter Mat

Another lifesaver. I bought this at the beginning of the year in the midst of a 21 Day pincha challenge and have never looked back. If folding out your full mat is a barrier to entry for a quick practice for you, grab one of these. It saved my pincha challenge.

Flexible Mini Mat

I’m so sad I didn’t grab one of these sooner. I have delicate knees, and moving a cushion around in class is annoying. This helps immensely with that. I don’t have to move this mat during class, and my knees don’t ache in low lunge. Plus, I can scoot it to the side if I’m next to the wall for pincha practice without moving my whole mat.

Nice Blocks

Who doesn’t love aesthetic blocks? These are nice and sturdy and double as fantastic boosters for my laptop during Zoom classes.

Bolster Pillow

This isn’t the largest bolster on planet Earth, but it’s comfy and small enough to fit in my mat wrangling holder (an also aesthetic laundry hamper).

Nice Mat Spray

Always a good gift. This one is similar to the one I bought, which was unscented so I could customize with 10-20 drops of my favorite essential oil. This is a great brand and lemongrass is the base of the scent I will create in my own gifting this year.

Palo Santo

A great incense that looks pretty and is beloved by many. Slip some into a gift basket tied with a nice ribbon.

Spa Crystal Oil Diffuser

This essential oil diffuser would look stunning in a bathroom for spa relaxation or meditation space. This version is similar to the type I picked up, but in different crystals. A set like this would also make a great gift basket addition.

Nag Champa Diffuser Oil

My favorite “regular” incense scent, now in an essential oil. Paired with some reed sticks and a carrier oil, this would be perfect for asthmatic yogis who can’t do the smoke of lit incense.

Bracelet Mala Beads

I was gifted a beautiful wooden set of beads strung on elastic so you can wear them as a bracelet by a dear friend and absolutely love them. This set is more fashion than practical – at least for me. I have found great comfort in wearing them on days I need a little pick-me-up from my community. Bonus: the wood on mine smells divine.
